Bikini Waxing
Posted: 06-21-08 19:49pm

Yesterday I got a bikini wax for the first time. Yes it hurt!!
Today I am still red bumpy and irritated.
Has anyone else experienced this? How long will this last? What can help soothe the area?
Thanks

maybe put some aloe or something?

I tried this ONCE myself..bought some nair wax...i swear..that is the most PAINFUL thing EVER...and to do it to yourself! I will never ever ever ever let wax around that area again haha...ever...maybe getting it done professionally isn't as bad? pffttt...i need some numbing cream or something before i do that

I've never experienced they bumpiness, but it will probably be red for the next couple of days. I do recommend a hard wax. You don't need strips for this and it only sticks to the hair not the skin so you can go over a spot more than once. I've had waxes done with the strips and I prefer the hard wax...it just ends up smoother!

By the way the first time is ALWAYS the worst...it gets much much better the more you go!
