I am a little concerned, I have been on Levlen ED for 8 years non stop and never had a problem until a week ago. My period stopped on the 12th of June and I noticed on the 20th of June whenever I wiped there was blood, but it wasn't red it was brown. I thought it would go away but it is still here and it is the 26th of June. It is not heavy enough to put a tampon in but sometimes when I go to the toilet there is brown blood on my underpants. I am starting to get worried because this has never happened to me before. I have continued to use the yellow tablets thinking it would make it go away but I fear it is getting heavier. I cannot get to the doctors for the next week as I am going overseas but will go as soon as I get back. Has this happened to anyone else?

yes i'm having the same issue but i'm taking a different birth control, i'm not sure what to do either. i'm going to go get a pregnancy test to see if that is the case since birht control is only 99.9 % and if that doesnt work i'm calling my doctor to see if i can get an apt. and understand what is going on.

Hey, I've been on Levelen ED for about 3 years and the same thing started happening to me. I went to see my doctor about it and had every test known to man-kind but there was nothing wrong with me, so my doctor has decided that it's possibly just time for me to change pills. She said it's often a good idea when you've been on a pill for 3-4 years to change so as of next friday I'm starting on Yasmin. I'm very scared about changing pills as there's a whole bunch of possible side-effects but Yasmin is supposedly pretty good for that. I had the break-through bleeding for months so if it continues for you I'd maybe suggest asking your doctor for a new pill as well.

Thanks for the suggestion Smile I remember asking my doctor about changing pills if you have taken the same one for years but she told me not to worry. I will bring it up with her again when I go to see her in a weeks time cause it is getting worse. Thanks for replying Very Happy
