Q: Best all-in-one vitamin supplement?

I've been taking Centrum and have noticed that every time I do, I get a severe stomach ache. A visit to Amazon.com and looking at the reviews reveals that I'm not alone; nearly everyone suffers the same severe stomach pain within two to five minutes of swallowing the pill.

I liked the notion of an all-in-one vitamin supplement, though. Does anyone have any alternative suggestions for a better supplement?

If pills in general upset your stomach you may consider a "drinkable" multi, Nutrametrix makes such a multi. Centrum is not very good quality to begin with. Some quality companies are DaVinci, Metagenics, and Anabolic Laboratories. Hope this helps.

Which vitamins are you trying to suppliment your body with do you know exactly ? Certain foods contain high levels of specific vitamins and in most situations would be more healthy and benificial than many man made processed suppliments. Like a banana papaya kiwi some natural nuts (unsalted) broccoli red fruits and fish etc. If your doctor has prescribed you with a suppliment for a reason you should take that advice but also dicuss with your GP alternative foods and or diets. You could simply type in google for example 'foods that contain viamins B12 and B6' or iron. Did you just how many good essential vitamins are found in the Almond and Brazil and Walnut nut ? - You would be amazed! I grab a hand full of those mixed nuts on my way out each day.
