Benzodiazepines every day Posted: 05-28-08 02:07am
Are there any people who takes it daily
and what type is it? Is it safe using it
like this and what mg? Do you find it
helpful to detox from it once a while?

For me personally, I was on Xanex after my
brain bleed from my blood pressure going
high after a verbal fight. I was on 2mg
three times a day, which is for severe
anxiety. I was on it for four years and
that dose about a year. I was then taken
completly off of it and put on Klonopin
and had no withdrawl at all. Which was my
nightmare. I am now off my Klonpin and
taking 1mg Xanex as needed up to three
times a day. Have not had any in a month.
My PCP told me, now that I am on Seraquil
I should not need them as often. She was
right. At least in my case she was.

What is it used for and does it combat
withdrawals from benzo's?

That is also use for anxiety. But, unlike
Xanex or other fast acting Benzo's, this
has a longer life span in your system.
Klonopin can normally last for hours at a
time and will get you going on a good
blood level. Whereas the other a better
take for emmediate severe attacks when you
need them.
Edited: Typo
Hope that helps

I think you should be honest, because
you'll be only fooling yourself. I think
it's fine,if you have to take it
sometimes, you have to.
