This is MRI scan report summary of my mother which had been took june 2008

1.There is evidence of lesion encroaching into inter hemispheric fissure,anterior 3rd ventricle and formen of manro
leading to obstructuve hydrocephalus with dialtion of lateral ventricles
2.The lesion is measuring 6.31* 5.011 * 3.49 cm.
3.Compression and posterior displacement of infundibular stalk.
4.Enfulfment of A1 and A2 segment of both ACA and A.Comm - A
5.Minimal thinning of optic nerve sheath complex seen
6.Pituitary gland is engulfed by the lesion
7.Encasement of optic chaism noticed

Above findings are suggestive of supra sellar-planum sphenoidale and inter hemispheric fissural epi-dermoid cyst

can any one help me to understand the above report ?
can we cure the above with help of medicine or an sugery is required?
and also the complexity of the problems and its severity.
