Q: Benign ovarian tumor removed

Several years ago I had a baseball size solid tumor removed along with my right ovary and tube. Prior to that I was being treated for back pain with a numb thigh and pain shooting into right knee. This got better after the tumor was removed (except numbness), so I assumed most was caused from tumor and figured I had some permanent nerve damage because of the tumor. I'm now having severe back spasms, numbness is getting painful and the pain in my knee in non-stop. I've been checked by my OB and all is fine. I'm having an MRI next week. Just wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone. Appreciate any help.

Thank You
Kari

Is the back pain constant and persistent even at night when sleeping?
Do you found the back pain like brief, sharp, and shooting, and often increased by coughing, straining, standing, or sitting, and usually relieved by lying down?

My daughter-in-law had the same thing happen to her except in both legs. She went to the ER because they were hurting her so bad and they gave her a mri which determined that she had a tumor on her right ovary. They operated and removed the tumor, tube and ovary. She still has the numbness and sore knees now. She is being tested for arthiritus right now. She is 37. Please let me know how you are feeling and if they were able to diagnose your condition. thanks.
