so....im sitting at work and...i know its odd but im wondering WHY after your cord is clipped does your belly button heal inwards....i understand that not everyones does this but what makes it heal that way....why doesnt it heal flat...

if you have a gun shot wound it heals flat or it might be a lil raised becasue of the scar tissue....but what exactly cause the hole of your belly button.....???

somebody please try to answer this for me so people in the er that i work with will stop looking at me like im crazy and calling em a hippie!!!
