Beginning period after stopping pill

ive been off my birth control for almost two weeks now i havent had any signs that im going to start my period my boyfriend and i are trying to get pregnant but im not sure if im even able to have a child.
seeing as the whole reason i got put on the pill is because i would go months on end with out a period and once i got it it lasted two weeks or more. is something wrong with my body.???
