I was on an antibiotic for about a week (cefdinir) and another for only and day and i stopped (augmentin i think). I continued to take the birth control while i took my antibiotics and after. Five days later I had unprotected sex. Was my birth control still effective or not because the antibiotics? or was five days enough time for it to become effective again? Do you think its necessary to take plan b in this situation? or no because i still took the birth control?
