I just read a post to the doctor (that I
can't respond to) about a girl that seems
to be having delusions that people are
plotting against her and that it could be
linked to her Birth Control pill. Is this
possible? I've been on the pill for years
now and have never had this problem till
recently. All of a sudden I've been
suspecting that my fiance is cheating on
me. There's really no reason why I should
think this, but I've even gone as far as
searching his laptop for proof (checking
his history, searching files and
pictures). I finally broke down and told
him the other night and I was crying like
crazy. I felt guilty for thinking these
things, but I just can't seem to help it.
I'm thinking of going to counselling, but
could it be caused by the birth control
pills? My doctor is thinking of taking me
off it because she thinks it could be
leading to my high blood pressure. Now
I'm going to talk to her about this. It's
scary.

Birth control CAN increase mood disorders
in women who have depression, anxiety, and
other mental illness.
That is why I cannot use HORMONAL birth
control.

I've never had depression, anxiety, or
nother mental illnesses. This has only
just recently started and I'm wondering if
it could be because of the BC pill. But
I've been on BC for over 2 years now (and
before that for 5 years with a 3 year
break) and have never had this. What
would cause anxiety or any other problems
to just all of a sudden start?
