Q: BBT and low temps

I'm doing a BBT chart for the first time and I'm a little worried. My temp. is lower than the chart goes. The chart goes by tenths from 97 to 99 degrees. My temp seems to be going down slightly every day. The first day was 96.9, the second was 96.8, and this morning it was 96.5. Is this normal to have such a low temp, or should I worry? I figure if the chart doesn't go that low, maybe something's wrong?
Any info would be really helpful, thanks.

Nothing is wrong with you, you are fine. Sometimes your body just has low temps throughout your cycle. I would suggest that you go to an online charting website such as fertilityfriend.com and chart there. Then it wont matter if your temp goes below what is on the paper chart. You can go as low as possible on the online ones and it will keep track of it for you. A lot of the girls here have used or are using fertilityfriend and then they post their chart on the sticky on the forum so everyone can watch their chart.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Low BBT
If you consistently have low BBT (lower than 97.Cool, you may want to have your thyroid checked. This is a red flag for a hypothyroid and can cause infertility.
