Hi,

I had basal joint therapy 1.5 weeks ago and everything went well, the surgical cast was removed and now have a splint for the next 4 weeks. The pain has subsided quite a bit but I am having numbness in my thumb, index finger and the thumb side of my hand. The other odd thing is that even though I am numb, it feels like the nerve endings on my skin are constantly being stimulated which is driving me crazy. My doctor says this is normal.

Just wondering if anyone out there who has had this surgery ever experienced these sensations and how long did they last?

thanks for any input
Chuck
