Q: Bartholin cyst without puss ?

Hey, i had what i thought was a bartholin cyst, I had one once before but it just went away but this time it began to grow and became very very very painfull. I went to my local planned parenthood, but i knew more then them so i went to the ER to get it drained. When they drained it, there was no puss, which made the dr. question if it was really even a bartholin cyst. Does anyone have any information on this????
