Bailout stenting means "emergency coronary artery stent placement for abrupt or threatened artery closure caused by arterial dissection after PTCA."

Bailout stent can stay in the coronary artery as long as the blood can pass trough it.

... as long as the blood can pass trough it
This means, it can be implanted for the rest of life of the patient?
