I have been with my boyfriend quite a few times but this time after having sex I started getting this fishy/metalic smell. Is this an infection? Is this from him not cleaning himself properly? Will this go away on its own and how can I prevent this from happening again?

A fishy smell is often a bacterial infection. It is not caused by your boyfriend, even though being with him can make it smell bad.

If this continues to happen, you should see your doctor to have you tested for bacterial braving sis (BV) and have it treated.

Best of luck!
