After having a sex, I have a bad smell inside and it stays for a quite time, My partner said it has happened before that when his sperm mix with some certain females that they get this smell too.
Is there any way I could prevent this smell and why we have not had this in the beginning of our relationship, it recently shows up. Now it bothers me but we still having a sex and I am trying to push away, still its on my mind. I use the dash to prevent this smell at least a little bit. I have never had this before with any of my partners so is there any other way that I can prevent this smell.
I was first thinking its me , so I used something for yeast infection for a while and I get to normal but then after we started again and its the same. Could it be that its his food depends what he eats and all.
Please if you could suggest me , what would be the best to prevent this smell. its like I am marked with his smell and smell on his sperm very often . I do not have any pains, or discharge, sometimes only few drops of his sperm which is very white and that is all. Of course the smell ...
Im not sure of anything you could do to prevent the smell, but Im pretty sure everyone experiences some kind of smell after sex. Atleast I do... I just always take a really warm shower afterward and put on some baby powders. It usually works for me!
Thanks for all you help and advice, I have been taking the regular medication for yeast infection and I do not have the same smell.
I forgot to mention that I am on contraceptive pills, so I read about it and they say that every often the person who use those pills, get also often the yeast infection.
So, I am ok now, do not have the bad smell any more.
Again , THANKS for your advice and help.
I read an article talking about female odor. The nutrients in organic yogart and cottage cheese help to neutralize odors, it is also good for yeast infections maybe that is why it helped Bad Smell -gone. Good luck
Dubrovik - it is never normal to have a bad odor after sex. While semen may cause you to smell different from what you normally smell like, if you are having a fishy/foul odor, it might be bacterial vaginosis, which is an imbalance of normal bacteria, is not sexually transmitted, and is treatable. If you haven't done so already, I'd get checked at your clinic/Dr's office.
The doctor can help but he may also tell you that for you that scent is normal. If it is, you may not be able to do anything to change it. You can mask it or power etc but ea womanâs scent is unique to her. What you consider a turn off may well be the best turn on for a man.
Check it out but don't worry too much about it. Just be clean and neat about yourself and let normal be normal. Good luck
Please please don't douche. It upsets the normal bacterial balance in your vagina. There is really no way to prevent that smell. I think I know the one you are talking about...not exactly pleasant but not horrible either. Just the smell of sweat, sex, and fluids. Be sure to urinate before and after sex. Gently wash the area with baby shampoo and water. If it is really bothersome, talk to your doctor about it. Yogurt can help balance the natural bacteria. However I disagree with bv study about an odor down there after sex is never normal. It is very normal if you take into account what actually goes on (sweat, liquid exchange, natural phermones, etc).
Im sorry to say that the people who say its 'normal' and just wash or go to the loo obviously DONT experience the same problem.
I have had this before but not to the extent that I have now, with my new partner...it lingers. I can smell it on my hands. He has also seemingly become too tired to be as active with me..I smell during the week..and its AWFUL.
After doing alot of reading, doc visiting..I ahve come to the conclusion that it is an imbalance caused by his sperm and our fluids..Every guy is different..My guy obviously has stronger chemicals in his fluid that upsets the balance in my vagina.
I proved this by making a mixture of 2 cups of water to 1 tablespoon of vinegar, sat on the floor, got a syringe without the needle and syringed 4 loads inside me..
WOW!!!! instantly NO smell and I was back to my normal smell..its been 3 days now and still no smell..
This truly is a miracle for me and I cant wait to tell my partner as I am sure he thinks I am unclean..
Try it...I guarantee it works! But make sure you have no infections first..

I also suffer from having a awful foul odor after having sex with my husband. The smell stays for a number of days. It had gotten so bad that I just prefer not to have sex at all. Since not having sex at all wasn't working for either one of us, I decided to try having sex and use the "pull out" method since I had been told that it was probably the PH of his speem and my insides were not matching. That actually did work but the only problem was that we couldn't go with the method each time we had sex which would lead me back to a couple of awful smelling days. And I agree with someone else when they stated that you could even smell it on your hands and make the set if your cloths smell bad. I have douched, yes I know it isn't good but I hate the smell. I use femanie wash and powders daily. I made an appointment to see my gyn about this issue.
