Q: bad hip pain ?
asked by: Rosie H on August 4th, 2008
Extremely eHealthy
Im 35 weeks and have been having hip pain here and there. Usually if I have been sitting for a long time or moving for a long time. It always went away with exercise, heating pad, massage, or just being still. But now Its becoming very frequent and very painful.

It is in my pelvis and doesnt feel like anything in my uterus or vagina so its not in that area. It feels like my bones are being picked apart. its beginning to cause problems because I almost fall sometimes. Like when I get up after sitting. My hip gets a real sharp pain and as I stand it feels like my legs cant support me. If I move my legs to walk too soon I feel like I could fall. its like my legs wont support me. Once I had to reach out and crab something or I would have fallen for sure. I plan on working for 3 more weeks and my job is easy. I sit at a computer all day. But I do take the city bus and walk about 2 miles per day. Im getting a little scared because I have almost fallen while getting on and off buses. I have to take it real slow so I wont fall. Do think this is cause for concern? Or is it just part of pregnancy? Should I stop working sooner?
