I am nearly 40, and am pre-menopausal. I have VERY sporadic periods, sometimes going nearly a year with none at all. Lately I have had really REALLY bad cramps, then I'll spot a little bit, then nothing. Example: I cramped all day yesterday, most of last night, then again most of the day today. This evening I used the bathroom and had passed a few clots (They were on my TP.) Now, nothing as far as the period goes. I am still cramping some, but nothing like it was. Is this serious enough to see my doctor about? Or should I just chalk it up to menopause and cowboy up?
