Ok so i was a freshman in college and i developed an eating disorder during my 2nd semester, and then lead me to abuse laxatives for a short time during the summer. I was a silly, silly girl and what I did for a little over a week was I used laxatives while I fasted. After about 4 days of not eating and taking excess laxatives is that i began to bleed when I went to the bathroom to do #2 (sorry for the terminology). Not a huge amount, but the toilet paper was stained with a light red. I promptly stopped, but but for 2-3 months afterward it would occasionally (1 a week/2 weeks) stain a little red and would almost always hurt when i had to use toilet paper in that area. I was extremely embarrassed about the whole thing, and never told anyone or went to the doctor. I switched to the softest toilet paper and I think that helped, along with healing time.

But my main issue, is that the area right under the vaginal opening (posterior fourchet?) has since that time been seriously upset. I mean redness, a little bit of swelling, and super super sensitive. I've also noticed increased discharge since that time (mucous-y, milk colored). And during the end of the summer would be super itchy some nights.

But then again, they are two different areas, so i'm not sure if vaginal issues could be caused by abusing laxatives. it could be something completely unrelated and just coincidental. To be honest with you, another reason I haven't gone to the doctor is because I wouldn't even know which doctor to go to- a gyno. or my regular doctor.
