Ok so this is my situation. I was taking Nordet or Norden im not sure what they are called for about a year a half. I recently switched to Microgynon.Im really worried though, i know im suppose to use another back up method but i dont know for how long. Today i had intercourse with no proteccion but it was only for like 10 seconds or even less. Im on my 11th pill of my new microgynon, and im wondering if those 10 seconds can mean pregnancy. Or for how long do i have to use a back up method, like i said i've been using a back up method correctly until today my 11th day. Should i be worried.?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
The back-up method should be followed until you have your first periods after starting on the new birth control pills. If you have been using back-up method of contraception correctly uptil now, then chances of pregnancy is less. If you are in your probable fertile period during this time, then taking emergency contraception (within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse) in addition to your usual birth control would be better to avoid chances of pregnancy resulting from pre-cum. Discuss about your chances of pregnancy while being on Microgynon with your gynecologist before taking emergency contraception.
Take care.
