Several months ago, I noticed that there was a popping and shifting feeling in my very lower back. Just recently, I have been experiencing back pain. The popping has gotten even worse and happens everytime I life an individual leg up leg up. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing portions of my lower back to pop like that?

The popping happens when the concave surface of the vertebra, and the convex surface of the disk separate momentarily during stress, and stain, its much like the effect that happens when you pull a suction cup off again of glass. It seems to happen to people with healthy spines, but it occurs more often in people with mechanical problems in their spines.
