two friends of mine suffered nerve damage
due to disc problems that required correctional procedures.

anything to do with loss of feeling probably means nerves were affected
in connection with the spine or discs.

once you identify which discs are affected, the nerve problem will
also be addressed.

one friend was told by a chiropractor to consult a neurologist
who identified the source of the problem. if you seek more
than one opinion, it helps because of trial and error in troubleshooting
until you find the cause.

My opinion is that you possibly suffer from deep soft tissue injuries in lower back and neck region. It is a common misconception that back pain always stems from the pressure of a slipped disc or a trapped nerve. This is misleading, the main cause of pain is soft tissue inflammation stimulating nerves, causing the pain signal.

So you should go to see your orthopaedic doc for second opinion, then, treat it by alternative med (deep tissue massage and acupuncture ).
Good luck!
