I have had dull aching in the lower right of my back about waist level for several months. It becomes worse when I lie down or sit or lean forward. Could you help me as to the problem? I do not like to go to doctors since they always treat me as if I am crazy. They either don't listen or poopoo my complaint or actually become rude.

It really isn't possible to diagnose you. We are not doctors and even if we where, we would have to be able to examine you.

You really do need to see a doctor about your pain.

You need to find a doctor that will listen to you and try to determine what is wrong.

Good luck

doctor?
I know this and have also asked the on-line doctor the same question you see. Thought I might find someone else with the same complaint that could explain what they thought it was possibly, since I am not even sure what kind of doctor I would go to if I were willing to do so. They are all specialists these days. Also, I cannot find a doctor that will listen; that is the crux of the problem. Point one out for me please: one that does listen and care or just is not insulting and I will try him/her. Thank you.

You need to see a spine specialist. Either an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in spines or a neurosurgeon that specializes in spines only.

Why doctors are not listening to you, I can't answer. Try calling a major medical center in your area and get the names of some spine specialists and then make an appointment to see of of them.

Good luck
