Back Pain Self Therapy Posted: 04-16-08 07:16am
A simple tool for self therapy of Back
Pain following the simple principles of
the Dorn Method and Osteopathy: Spynamics
Back Pain Self Therapy
Finally after a long period of try and
error the Spynamics Sacro Aligner, a Back
Pain Self Therapy Tool is ready.
Working successfully with the Dorn Method,
http://www.dorn-method.com, I
realized that the main reason why back
pain sufferers do not improve long term
and usually come back for therapy after
some time is that they do not give their
body enough time to re-organize and heal.
Although the Dorn Method Self Help
Exercises are easy to do, cost nothing and
require no special equipment nor time,
most people will still not do them because
they do not see the value.
They rather invest a fortune in finding a
solution for their problem outside of them
than creating a little self-discipline and
take their destiny into their own hands
again….
I am convinced that our sacrum is the most
important bone in our system, the keystone
of the building so to say, and by
re-aligning it and keeping it aligned most
pain in the structural system could be
dealt with quite easily. Following the
principles of the Dorn Method I designed a
self help exercise for this that uses a
small ball (tennis ball ) as replacement
for the therapist´s hand. See all Dorn
Method Self Help Exercises here:
htt

lpExercises.htm
Since then I had a Self Help Tool in my
mind that could improve this ball exercise
but it did not take shape until this year
and after several month research and try
out is now ready.
The versatility of this new gadget is
fantastic yet as simple as the Dorn
Method.
I called it Spynamics Sacro Aligner from
Sp(ine) and (d)ynamic and alignment,
because it is using spinal dynamics to
re-align the sacrum.

Independant research on the tool is
currently conducted and will be published
when ready.

New devices are always interesting in the
treatment of back pain....however, I
suggest waiting until there is a
CONTROLLED SCIENTIFIC TRIAL available.
The lack of a controlled trial for any
therapy in which the patient must pay out
of their pocket, should be a warning to
patients that there simply is no viable
proof the device is either safe or
effective or cost effective. New advances
in science deserve the same level of
safety and proof that are required for
more traditional medical approaches.

Hello Thomas,
EXCELLENT words of advice and wisdom from
Algosdoc. He is RIGHT ON!!!!
Now seek out the best neurologist/spinal
doctor (with MD after his/her name) that
you can find in your area and make an
appointment to seek out the advice of the
doctor at the top of your list.
