Recently I've been experiencing back pain that continues to get worse.
I usually sleep on my left or right side holding a pillow (In a fetal position basically).
I have been told sleeping with two pillows is bad for posture and my back, so I switched to one, and it helped for a night or two, then possibly made it worse. I've tried sleeping with a pillow between my knees, that did not help.
I never fall asleep on my stomach unless I am drop dead tired. I wake up a lot through the night from the pain and turn over and hope it just goes away. Laying on my back never works. I read on another post to try stretches before bed, I'm willing to give that a shot.
My bed isn't an expensive bed, it was actually given to me, it's a soft bed with a little firmness. I'm considering a memory foam for it.
But does anyone have any suggestions?
I lose sleep, which I end up being tired a couple hours after. For example, I slept from 11:00 pm to about 8:00 am, waking up various times (and when I wake up, it's like my cycle has to restart and I haven't done any resting at all) and by the time 2:45p.m. rolled around, I was tired again and slept until 6 p.m., waking up due to more back pain.
