Hello all--

I posted a question a few weeks ago regarding my chances of being pregnant with cramps for 3 days after a low-risk activity with my boyfriend. My period did eventually show up, and it was shorter than normal but def not implantation bleeding because it was bright red in color. Now three weeks later I am having abdominal cramps, sometimes concentrated on the left side, sometimes the right, and pain in my lower left back. I also last night began having some pain in my left arm to about just above my elbow from my wrist. Im concerned. Is is possible to be pregnant after a period? I've read a lot into ectopic pregnancy and am very concerned of the possibility. Could it also be just as urgent but something else? I have not taken a pt yet because I had gotten my period so I stopped thinking about it. I plan to do this today.

Thanks so much.

lower left back pain and stomach cramps
Hi
you are experiencing ovulation pain. i get it every month, about 2 weeks after my period finishes. infact i calculate my period due date by it - i always start my period 2 weeks after the pain stops and its spot on every month. if you check your cervical mucus at the same time you will probably notice it to be like egg white, and for me is present a few days before the pain. i've read that the pain is caused by the egg trying to break out of the folicle - thats the reason its only on one side. you might find the pains on the other side next month.
