hi, i my self suffered from chronic back pain due to arthritis on my back. I was on yaz for 3yrs which help with the pain. But now that i'm off the yaz 2months ago because husband and i split up. the pain is so severe that i cant go to work, and bleed so much and even after my period i still have the symptoms. i'm not sure if my back just getting worst or i need the yaz back. talk to your dr. if your on the pill you might have to change it that will help with pain. what do you take for your pain and what the cause of back pain. you can email me directly if you need more info. but yah i feel your pain your not alone.

Hi
Back pain is not unusal with periods. It most commonly what we call refered pain from you ovarion area and will girdle around to the back. I use to wear a heating pad when I was resting and at bedtime.
Hope you feel better and this presists have it looked into to rule out kidney infections. Talk to your GYN about it also. Yaz is one of the best on the market right now. They did not do alot of study one though. But when I myself worked for a GYN for a year when I first came out. Our patients gave us nothing but good reviews. But that does not mean there will not be some uncomfortable side effects as most medication can have.

Menstrual back pain can be a monthly occurrence for many women. it is the medical term for the muscular cramps that can cause abdominal and back pain during the menstrual cycle. it can be caused by the some hormonal changes that cause abdominal cramping during the period, one of the best treatments is WATER,Make sure to drink lots of water and you might be surprised at the positive results .if pain is serious, you should go to see your GYN.Good luck!
