Lower left rib and back pain, mixed in with chest pains...
And left arm numbness. Ive gone to several different cardiologists that tell me that there's nothing wrong with my heart. I went to a chiropractor, and all he told me was that my spine was a "little" misaligned. But nobody has been able to tell me what's wrong with me. To be as specific as possible, I will list what I feel every single day.

*Rib pain, particulary to the back, lower left rack.
*Chest pain (Moderate and up)
*Left shoulder and pain numbness(the kind you get when your arm falls asleep)
and *Entire neck to back pain in general. My neck and back crack consistently, and at times I feel ripples of pain from the center of my back, outward, which leave me motionless in bed.

I've researched this as best as possible, but all it tells me is that Im "having a heart attack! Seek medical assitance!"

But its not that. Im still here, arent I?

Please, to your best ability, HELP ME!
These symptons dont let me live a normal, which means running around and playing sports.

Im just 16 years old.

Please help.

You should tell your parents to have your primary doctor refer you to a spinal specialist.

You need to have your spine thoroughly evaluated by a spinal specialist. Either an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in spines or a neurologist that specializes in spines only.

Sounds like you may have some issues with your cervical and or thoracic spine and an MRI would be of benefit to determine what may or may not be going on.

A spine surgeon is what you need. The doctors that you have seen should have already told you and your parents that you need to see a spine specialist.

Stay away from the chiropractor. They very often make spinal issues worse, even though their claims are fixing spines.

Good luck and keep us posted on what is going on.

thoracic disc herniation
It sounds to me like you may have a herniated thoracic disc. I have several. I just had a trans thoracic laminectomy via thoracotomy on Jan. 5 2009. The symptoms you described are a lot like the ones I had.
