I had back surgery a little over a year ago! My back is starting to hurt again, what type of doctor should i see?

If you where satisfied with the spine surgeon that did your surgery, you should return to that doctor.

Otherwise, you need to see either an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in spines or a neurosurgeon that specializes in spines only.

You should make that appointment as soon as possible.

I would go to see your doctor and he should refer you to an orthopedic surgeon. good luck
