I saw a post about someone who experiences a popping sensation in the back of the head after doing leg presses at the gym. I have experienced the same sort of sensation at times and I want to see if anyone knows anything about these types of symptoms. For example, I will be doing something that is straining my head, like a pushup or anything where I am kind of "clenching" those head/neck muscles, and then I get the thing that this other person described. It feels like a blood vessels popping or something. Very sharp and scary feeling instantly, for a few seconds, and I get numb on the back of the head as well as down into my tongue. And I get dizzy. And then it goes away fairly quickly. It has been freaking me out more and more lately. I can almost feel the tightness or a bulging in the back of the head now, and it feels like it could easily happen again if I did something a little straining to the head/neck muscles. I want to know if I should go to a doctor. Any help on this would be appreciated! Thanks.
