Does anyone know what would be causing the pain that starts the upper left side of my back(couple seconds) then immediately goes left side of the back of my neck (couple seconds),then the left side of the back of my head (same amount of time). Back-neck-head. Back-neck-head. It always works in that order. Never one without the other.
I have had LOWER back trouble for about 10 years. I fell down the stairs, and went down 6 stairs on my behind the whole way down (couldn't sit for a month without putting my foot underneath me). I have a LOT of lower left back pain, which made me wonder if these other 3 pains might have something to do with it,even though they have just started in the past few months. Any help would be appreciated. doctor

I would suggest that you start by seeing your primary care physician for a full check up and tell him/her what is going on.

From there you might want to have an evaluation with a spinal surgeon. Either an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in spines or a neurosurgeon that specializes in spines.

Sounds like you may have both some lumbar and cervical spine issues that would need evaluation by a spine surgeon, MRI done as well.

Good luck
