I have been having some wierd movements in my belly and wanted to know if they are normal. Usually later in the day, my stomach starts to feel larger than it does during the day. Sometimes, at night, while im lying down, i feel my belly, and it feels like the baby moves! Is this normal at 5 months? Sometimes it feels like the baby is positioned more to the left side than the right? like my bump is positioned more on my left side. Is this all normal?

5 months pregnany baby movement
I was told that at five months (typically) other people can now feel the baby moving too. You probably were feeling the baby move a couple weeks or a month before this. From what you are saying and what my doctor has told me, that is perfectly normal.

I get the same feelings you do. There are some days and some times of the day where I definitely feel bigger or smaller. And at night my kid goes to town kicking at me from the inside. The way it was explained to me is that at night you tend to be relaxing more and so you're body is still and the baby wakes up (and, therefore, moves). During the day you are up and about and moving around which kind of lolls/rocks the baby to sleep.

I hope that helps. Smile

Hi, i am 20 weeks. Today i had my ultrasound but couldnt get it done properly because baby was not moving. Doctor tried hard to move her but she didnt move , even gave me sweet to change her movements but failed. I have heard that girls are very active and they move a lot but i was tensed my baby girl didnt move at all. So doctor rebooked me again for another ultrasound. Is it normal that baby is lazy sometime.?

Im 5 months pregnant and my daughter kicks very hard only early in the morning and late in the nights. Sometimes after I eat (i eat a lot of spicy foods lol) but during the day she moves only a little . I feel her kick and sometimes it feels like she is rolling over ? I thought maybe it was from the noises , my husband and his friends can be very loud . But when he talks to her she doesn''t move so i dismissed that theory , but is that normal to be able to see her body parts when she kicks me? Maybe she is growing too fast? I have diabetes type 1 and am high risk pregnancy. They tell me that she will probably come out underweight, though it is typically for diabetic pregnant women to have rather large children. Anyone else going through the same situation? Also, this is my first baby and first pregnancy.
