I'm not too sure but what I do know is that by at least 2 weeks the woman will normally go into labor after fetal demise.

When my baby passed away I was getting contractions the same day (I didn;t know they were contrations I thought it was fetal movement). Most doctors go ahead and induce or preform c-cestions if necessary right away to keep infection from setting in and making the mother sick.
