Is there any way to prevent baby eczema, my 8 week old baby has had it on his face for about 3 weeks, but this moring i noticed it starting on his arms and legs slighlty. His face is dry and has flare ups of what looks like a rash. His arms and legs are starting the same as his face did, like a rash. Is there anything i can do to prevent his body drying out like his face. I have been using aqueous cream on face but its not helped much really.any suggestions would be gratefull.

Eczema usually occurs in my children when they have a reaction to milk or detergents. You can try taking milk based products out of his diet (or yours if you are breastfeeding) or switching to all natural, unscented soaps for bathing and laundry.

Keeping a humifier in his room should help. There are also otc baby lotions for the relief of eczema. If it gets really bad, you can talk to your doctor about using a hydrocortizone treatment as a last resort.
