Q: baby acne ?

My baby has a horrible rash on her face that tends to get worse when she is awake(crying, eating, being held). It started out as a bunch of red bumps and is now very dry looking with some yellow crusty areas. It's on her checks, chin, neck, upper back and chest. We took her to the doctor Thursday and it was diagnosed as neonatal acne but that was before the dryness and yellowness appeared. What could it be and how do I treat it? Should I take her back to the doctor?

this looks like exzema--id take her into a doctor and get some cream for it. I worked as a nanny in germany for a little girl that had this same rash--diagnosed as exema and she would have yellow serum coming out of it and it itched horribly--

It must've been some other kind of rash. I used some Aveeno baby cream for a few days and it cleared right up!
