Q: B.P. on pharmacy machines

Is it normal that my blood pressure goes down if I check it on a pharmacy machine 2-4 times within 10 minutes? The first reading has been 147/93, then with a few deep breaths and 3 minutes later its 131/87, then again after 3 more minutes 123/78. Does the cuff do something to my arm that makes the reading lower?

When you take two or three readings and the first one is always highest and then the readings become lower each time you take them, keep taking readings until they level out and then use this as your reading.
