Q: azoospermia treatment

Hello,
I have azoospermia and the doctor has suggested that my only solution to finding out if i have sperms is to undergo the biopsy which i find a bit uncomfortable.
I want to know if this is the only option i have. If it is, what are the side effects? Is it really painful? Is there anything i need to do to enhance my chances of having sperm?

Dear Charlie,

The process is not very painful. It would not last more than 3-4 hours from begining to end. You can go home after that. Get it done prefarably on a Friday or Saturday.

What can be done if the biopsy has been done and there was zero sperm found in the sample? All other tests reported normal.
