I am 31 years man and over 3 years I got married. Since last 2 years we have been trying to get baby but my wife could not be pregnant... Finally, we met with a Gynecologist and he gave me semen analysis test but the test report is found empty sperm in my ejaculation. However, I had done several times semen analysis last one year but the result is usual. Moreover I also done the following test according to doctor advice. The test are:
FSH 6.0 mIU
LH 6.0 mIU
TESTOSTERONE 8.74 nano mol/L
USG SCROTUM - Nomal
Study URINE = NAD
No SD, No Varicocele
Very recently, I have done FNAC from both left and right testis and the microscopic description is:
Smears prepared from both vestibula aspirate show presence of hero cells with evidence of spermiogenesis characterized by the presence of spermatocytes, spermatids and spermatozoa although they are reduce in number. Cali shows thick eosinophilic proteinacous material containing clusters and discrete sertoli cells.
DIAGNOSIS : TESTIS, Right and left (FNA): Consistent with spermatogenic hypoplasia
At present I don't understand what I should do... So I m seeking my treatment help.. pls... pls.... any is there so he/she can properly suggest me what I should do now....
I'd suggest that you meet with a urologist, Palash. Urologists are the specialists who deal with issues related to the penis and testicles. A urologist can also help diagnose the sperm count tests to evaluate your fertility and determine if a problem in sperm production or quality of the sperm is causing the problems with pregnancy. The lower your sperm count, the more likely you'll have trouble fathering a child. Possible causes for low sperm count include:
Physical or mental stress (temporarily reduces sperm count)
Testicular Exposure to Overheating.
Overheating (such as from high fever, saunas, and hot tubs)
Malnutrition and Nutrient Deficiencies
- Cystic fibrosis
- Klinefelter syndrome
- Kartagener syndrome
Exposure to Heavy Metals
Low Semen Levels
Your doctor may also suggest treating your wifeto increase her fertility. This can help compensate for male infertility. If other treatments aren't effective, artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization IVF might be helpful.
