I have been on Avonex for many years. I rarely have any side effects but since I have added my arms to my rotation, I have noticed that when injecting in the right arm, I tend to have the flu like symptoms. Does anyone else notice this with a specific site? rainbow

I'd be interested to know if others experience this as well.

Do you need to inject in your arms? I know they say rotate...used to rotate Copaxone...

For years I only injected in the top of my thighs. My legs were very sore to touch and I have developed scar tissue under the skin on the top side of my left thigh. This is the reason I started using the outer side of each leg as well as the top of the thigh. Even with these sites, I wanted to spread out the time each site was injected. That's why I started including my arms. If I could get to my hip, I would inject myself there. I am considering teaching my roommate to inject my hips for me but I think that will take a lot of talking.
