I take my Avones injection (30mcg prefilled) on saturday night and about 6 hours after i take it my right hand goes numb or has pins and needles sensations. I had a month off from the injection about3 months ago and had no problems while off the medication. Not sure what to do.

Thank you for your help

Avonex injection, the numbness and tingling feelings in my hands start getting worse about 3 or 4 hrs after the injection. It is much worse in my right hand which always feels worse than the left anyway. The intensified numbness/paresthesias start easing up by the next day. If the numbness resolves, I probably would just assume it is a side effect. You could call the Avonex rep. But it has done that to my right hand every time since I started in April. k
