I'm 13 this year and have a really severe case of scoliosis i guess. About ( 47 degrees top curve and 50 degrees bottom curve). I have to go for surgery real soon but delayed it as I'm so freaked out by it. I really hope that any of you guys that had gone through any treatments that can help treat scoliosis through real life experience can share with me your story so that I can go find out more about it.I really hope to avoid surgery and will do ANYTHING to treat it. I was recommended by one of the doctors here to read up more about the schroth method. I was hoping that anyone of you guys who went through the schroth method treatment will help me and share with me about more of your experience as I am planning to visit the Schroth clinic in the UK to treat my scoliosis and really hope that it will be sucessful as it not only would be costly, but will also bring a really great impact into my life. I hope that more of you will comment on this post, I really need your help. Thanks!

The "Schroth Clinic" in the Uk doesn't do real Schroth, I went there and had a very bad experience. The people who run the clinic were SO nasty and theyre not proper doctors! Then I learned from the German Schroth clinic that the UK people had been told to stop using the Schroth name because they weren't properly qualified. Now they call their treatment "Scoliogold" instead. It might work for some people but it didn't work for me or any of the other girls who were there at the same time as me, and its so expensive its not worth gambling on.
