i have av reenrty tachycardia. heart rate never above 180bpm. going to see doctor about ablation tomarrow. my questions are these: since my first episode in july 2009 i have had cronic dizziness-faintness and also loss of appitite with neasua. what i have been reading about avrt it seems the dizziness and faintness are only durning an episode. mine are all day every day. i dont think the arrithmya is causing my other issues and am worried about going to surgery if thats not my hole problem. any suggestions on what else could cause "all" my symptoms? its driving me crazy!

Perhaps feeling these symptoms all day every day is a little more than you would expect with AVRT, and i definitely can't see a link for the appetite loss and nausea. However, regardless of whether your whole problem is going to be fixed by the ablation procedure, you need to have it done. AVRT, regardless of whether it is solely responsible for your symptoms or not, is an abnormal rhythm that can be potentially dangerous and so the doctors will probably want to attempt to fix it. If the procedure is successful but you are still getting strange symptoms for months afterwards, then they can start investigating other potential causes. Fixing the AVRT is the first priority though!!!
