Hi. A naturopatist suggested me to "fix" my atlas cervical. It seems all of use born with it lightly luxated.

The web of the method is:

Anyone did hear about this technique? Any suggestions/recomendations?

You mean you do it every time to your patients?

or that someone does it to you regularly... I thought it was an "only-once" intervention...

I have some concerns because i've been with chemotherapy for a couple of months, last session was one month ago... I guess i have to ask my oncologist...

im not a doctor most of us on this site arent doctors but people that go through some of the same things that others go through. i go to a chiropractor that specializes in the neck. this vertebrae can come out again. its not a one time thing. its someting that you have to keep putting back. it will eventually stop coming out. but mine is a little stubborn. i dont thing that your being in chemo will be a problem. if anyting it ewill help.

Quiropraxis and vertigo?
I developed a vertigo sensation that lasts about a second when I move my head after a cervical manipulation. I am not sure if cervical manipulation can cause vertigo or dizzines. It is possible?
My doctor (ENT) told me that my problem is at ear level and gave me Nimodipine (calcium blocker) 3 times a day, 30 mg, I have been taking this for 10 days but I am not feeling better at all.
Any suggestion? Thanks

yeah its possible but you should make sure that you notify your chiropractor about it. How long after an adjust ment does it do this. i know it lasts for a second or 2 but how many days will it do this?

I have the session on November 14, 2007 and my vertigo started about december 15. That is the reason I am not really sure that my problem was due to quiro. I may think that if it was caused by quiro it should begin immediately after manipulation, or maybe I am wrong.
