Q: Atkins and Fibre

I'm worried that I'm getting no fibre on this diet. I'm 12 days into induction and have adjusted to it in most ways. I have lost 7 lbs. I agree that the cravings for food dies down and find I'm not always finishing my plate of food (something new for me). However I am worried about the constipation and wonder if any of you have any suggestions on what I can eat to help me get more fibre.
Plus I'm finding breakfast very difficult - I don't want to see another egg for weeks. Lunch and dinner are easy as I love salads and my meat and veg in the evening. Any suggestions around breakfast, aside of the breakfast bars which I find very sweet! Shocked

CAREFUL: The Atkins diet contains only 25 per cent of the recommended daily intake of fibre. Eat more greens, dear!

Thanks for reply but....
I'm not sure how much more greens/veg I should eat as I'm mainly eating salad every lunch time and meat and veg such as brocolli, runner beans, cauliflower, sprouts etc in the evening with my dinner. Perhaps the eggs in the morning are binding me, plus I find the snack bars very heavy - but only taking one of those per day on average.

Try FPP diatomaceous earth...you can get it at the freshwater organics website or some heath stores. There is additional info on the website.
