My 13yr. old son has been sick alot is his short life. When he was a baby he was sick with asthma ,cronic sinus infections, and white blood cell count jumping very high. He would be hospitalized with antibiotic and nobody every really explained why it would happen. He had sinus surgery around 4yrs. old and things got better. He still would get sick but not as often. The last 4 or 5 years other problems have started. About 4 years ago he had severe abdominal cramping. He was impacted, it took alot of medication to help him. Now he takes a nightly dose of medicine, if he misses a dose and sometimes even if he don't he can't go to the bathroom. About 1 year ago he started having migraines and light sensitivity. He has had about 5 migraines only the last 2 have we been able to take his maxalt and not go to the ER. The last 2 weeks he has had several different problems. About 2 weeks ago he had chest congestion and crackling in his right lung, that made his asthma flare up. We went to the doctor she put him on an antibiotic and breathing treatments. The next day he had a migraine. He said it felt different one side of his had hurt and he was dizzy and nauseaed. He was able to take his Maxalt and go to sleep. When he woke 3 hours later it was better, but he said his head was sore for about 3 days. This week he was constipated very bad and had to take extra medication to make him go. That night he had a migraine he took his Maxalt and went to sleep. It helped, he was feeling okay after all that. I'm worried that all this is connected somehow and somebody has not put it together or I may just be worried over nothing. My son says now it is just my normal sickness. 13yr. old boys are not suppose to be sick all the time and that be normal. I don't know what to do or if I'm doing everything I can? I don't want all the medication to hurt him as he gets older and cause other problems. I need some advice.
