Q: Asthma attack with hives

Hi,

I was diagnosed back in the fall with Asthma (Symptoms my whole life but no one ever "Diagnosed" me with it). So tonight I was at work, in a kitchen, and I started having trouble breathing but I did not have my inhaler. Anyways, I was wheezing and stuff, kept taking breather moments. Then I got hives on my arms.

I did a bit of reading when I got home about this and from what I have found this is not good. Has anyone else had this happen to them before?

I am assuming one of my triggers is something rather nasty... I don't really know what it might have been.

I guess you got hives that result in asthma attack.
An attack of hives is set off when a substance, called an allergen, is ingested, inhaled, or otherwise contacted and interacts with immune cells called mast cells, which reside in the skin, airways, and digestive system.
Realized histamine from mast cells in airways causes swelling of the airways and this will be manifested with wheezing and respiratory distress. In severe cases, airway obstruction may occur.

What type of urticaria you have?
Is this attack of hives happening for the first time?

I kind of have the same thing happening that you have, but it's a bit different

My breathing problems only occur when i'm around dogs and cats, and well i don't really know what causes my hives but all i know that it's only on my arms and legs... But when i sweat it's all over my body, i guess because when i'm working hard and i sweat it makes the hives worse?
