Today a friend of my husbands asked us if we would like to adopt the baby she is pregnant with. She is married but is unable to keep her baby for really serious reasons. She just got married and her husband is a registered sex offender. They will not allow him to be in the childs life or let them keep it. Her next possibility is then adoption. She is a good kind person and she has offered us this wonderful possibility via a private adoption. I said yes to her but do not really know where to go from here or know what to expect. Can someone give us some advice thanks!
