Q: ask her out ?

Ok here is the situation...

I went over to this pool party of a friend, and this girl was all over me and eyeballed me all throughout the night. However, i was a dumb and never asked for her number. Now luckily i know one of her friends. Her friend asks her what she thought of me and she said i was "cute and sweet." But her friend says that she just got out of a bad relationship and is not looking for anyone right now. Her friend sent me the number of the girl that i am initially trying to ask out. What does anyone reccomend? Should i call her and make it seem all awkward? Tell her friend to hook me up with her? Or should i even ask her out, since she is not looking for anyone?

As someone who has just gotten out of a bad relationship with her boyfriend, in my case, I am "not really looking for anyone right now". But I've found that by not really looking for anyone, that is when I find the best guys to date. So maybe she's doing the same thing. Or not. The only way to find out is to call her, but think about what you want to talk about first. Talk about how you had a good time at the party then talk about things you have in common before asking her out on a date. If she just really doesn't sound interested at all when you're talking, then don't bother asking her out.
