My period ended on April 12th. I started birth control on April 17th. I had unprotected sex on April 20th and he finished in me. My question is should I take the morning after pill? How soon will the pill take to start working? Please help me out! I've been taking the pill since on time and everyday.

Tara, your period probably started April 7th and you had unprotected sex on cycle day 13, very close to theoretical ovulation. You did not start bc pills at the normal time and had only taken a few. I think you should take the morning after pill ASAP.
