I heard about artificial vitamins as
opposed to vitamins taken from real food.
In you opinion, does one work as well as
the other?

Artificial Vitamins Posted: 05-04-08 00:59am
Here's the thing. 100yrs ago, people were
getting all the vitamins and minerals they
needed from the food they ate. However,
due to the leeching of soil, processed
foods, and fast food, it's pretty
difficult to get what you need from just
eating right. In fact, several studies
are now coming out (the last one being
from the New England Journal of Medicine
in July of last year) which say that
people should supplement their diets with
vitamins and minerals. That said, if you
decide to start supplementation, it's
important to purchase a high quality
product and not just something from
Walmart. A pharmaceutical grade
supplement is best as they follow more
rigorous testing and are actually
guaranteed to break down in your body,
unlike most vitamins you find in stores.
